Alise,
We love you more and more everyday. You also seem to get cuter and cuter as the days go by. We kiss your cheeks all day long and you have the biggest grin when you are getting loves. You sit up now and love to sit on the ground with a basket of toys near by. Tug still has your heart. Whenever you see him your face lights up.
We went and got your 6 month shots the other day and you were so mad and hurt you turned purple! I can already tell from this experience that you are going to be really good at getting everything you want. I have never seen you cry so hard and I wish I could just keep you in a bubble so you never had to feel pain.
We still snuggle for about a half hour before you go to sleep and it is the highlight of my day. I love that you like to snuggle. During this time we always say a prayer together and I can feel how much your Heavenly Father loves you (even though you are always talking in your loudest voice a little irreverent in church on sundays :) ). This new life with you is infinitely better. You are my everything and I would do anything for you.
Love,
Momma

4 Months
Alise,
You are growing way to fast. Please stop! You went swimming for the first time when we were vacationing in Las Vegas and you loved it. You are such a water babe. It makes me proud. You are rolling all of the place and we gave you rice cereal for the first time the other day. We found out that you prefer to eat it while in the tub! You are starting to grab things and put them into your mouth and you love to lay under your jungle gym. When you see yourself in the mirror you could stop and stare at yourself for an hour straight (and I don't blame you because I can't stop staring at you either)! You giggle when we play peek-a-boo and love to be snuggled and sung to before bed each night. You have fallen hard for baby Einstein and will not ride in the car unless it is playing. You are so loved little girl and am so lucky to be your mom.

Alise,
You are growing so fast on us. It is so exciting to see you learn new things and develop a personality. Right now you love to snuggle and it melts my heart. You also love to swing and watch the fishy's on the swing go round and round above your head. Bath time makes you happy and you always get so mad at us when it is over. We sing to you all day long because it makes you smile. We sing Patty Cakes and Old McDonald the most. You love it outside. If you are ever crying we walk outside and you are immediately soothed. You love Tug. You have laughed two times and both times it was for Tug. We love you more and more everyday and you bring so much joy to our family.

Your First Bath
Birth Story
My heart grew more that I could have ever imagined possible on 05.11.13
The day before my induction date I went to clinical. I was having painful contractions and my teacher sent me home early because I was so pale. The whole day I had contractions but I never felt comfortable enough to go to the hospital. Zach and I enjoyed our last night together as a family of two. We made sure our home was spotless for our little girl to come home to. We went to bed talking about how excited we were to meet little miss Chipman.
On D-day we woke up and Zach gave me a beautiful blessing. We got our hospital stuff together and said good-bye to our Tug and off to the hospital we went. We made it to the hospital at 0630 and started the induction process. First things first we had to get my IV in. I have large veins and no one has ever seemed to struggle with getting an IV in (even first time nursing students) but my nurse had the shakes. She tried to get it in 2 times and then went and got another nurse who thankfully got it in first try. After the IV was in they started me on pitocin to make my contraction stronger and more consistent, D5 to hydrate me and give me energy, NS to hydrate me and give me more fluid volume so my blood pressure did not bottom out (I started at 100/50), and penicillin because I had group b strep. She put all the monitors on my belly and checked me and I had progressed and dilated to a 4 over night.
At about 10 my doctor came in and broke my water. After that the painful contractions started and I was ready to get an epidural. Zach was a little nerved because she thought the nurse with the shakes would be the one doing my epidural but I assured him that an anesthesiologist would be doing the job. I was so scared and was shaking like a leaf but Zach held my hand through the epidural and I was surprised how little it hurt. I then lay there comfortable till about 4:30 and then we were ready to push. I pushed for 2 and a half hours, and threw up all over myself, but at 7:27 little miss arrived and it was all worth it. They put her on my chest and I felt as if my heart was going to burst. She was perfect.

Baby Girl
We are expecting a baby girl May 13, 2013. We are so excited! I want to remember this precious time so I am going to start blogging more so I can have some documentation. Here is the story of the beginning.
How we found out....
It was the day I should find out and I REALLY wanted to take a hot bath. I decided to take a test. Zach and I waited the whole three minutes and it came back negative. I was little sad and Zach was a little glad. He comforted me and told me that when the time was right it would happen. The next day after school I felt a little off. I decided to take another test. I was by myself this time because I knew that Zach would think I was crazy for doing it again. As I was waiting for the results I looked down at the garbage can. Guess what I saw? The darn test that I had taken the day before that once was negative had gone POSITIVE. I was freaking out. The second test soon came back with two lines. This was real! I was really pregnant. I have never been so happy in my life. Tug and I had a little party. We ran around, screamed, and jumped on the bed. I then called Zach to see when he would be home. He was going to be another hour so I had time to think of a way to tell him. I went to baby gap and chose out a outfit and I wrapped the outfit and the test together. He came home and I giddily had him open it. He did not believe me at first but when he finally figured it out, he gave me a hug and we celebrated together. We went to dinner and then snuggled and watched a movie. It was one of the best days of my life.
Frist trimester....
The first trimester was tough for me. I was really nauseated, tired, and dizzy. I felt like the baby was taking all of me. I passed out, threw up, and could not eat anything but carbs. Cereal was my life saver! I will forever be grateful for Cheerios, Special K, and Honey Bunches of Oats. Even though this time was hard I was grateful for it. Each day I was sick meant that I was still pregnant and that the baby was still there. It was a reassurance that I almost found comforting. At my 12 week appointment we got to hear our babies heartbeat. It was the sweetest thing I had ever heard in my life. I will never forget that moment. Once I hit 14 weeks this trimester ended along with all the sickness. It felt so good to be back.
To be continued......
