An Update

I am so sorry I have not blogged in a long time. I promise to be better this summer. Here is an update of whats been happening.
1. I finished my first year of Nursing school. (WAHOO only 2 left). I am proud to say I have not puked  or passed out once!
2. Zach only has one semester left for his undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering. I am so proud of him.
3. Tug turned 1! He is the best thing that ever happened to us.
4. Zach turned 24. I cant believe how old he is getting. I love him more and more everyday.
5. I saw Celine Dion in concert. I cried like a baby the whole time. Which is weird considering that I am not a crier. I did not even cry on our wedding day.
6. Zachary got a dirt bike. He is in absolute heaven.
7. We are at the snowie shack every night.
8. I am training for another half marathon. My goal is to beat my best time 1:42. I think I have given up on full marathons. Lets be honest, they suck! Here is my brother Brandon and I after the St. George marathon. It cracks me up every time I see it. We look miserable. hahahaha

9. We are packing to go to Mexico with these beauties as I write this.
10. We finally got our wedding pictures back. I am having the hardest time choosing 3 photos for our living room. Which ones are your favorite?

Tug

We are in love with our little tug. He tugs my heart strings (no pun intended)!!! The other day we started talking about all the nick names we have for him. I thought I would share them with y'all because we get a laugh out of them.

tug bug
tuggers
sir-tugs-alot
tugamus maximus
pee tail
tug boat
bubbas
little buddy
sleepy head
bear

He brings so much happiness to our little family. I am so grateful for him.

Young Womens

In August I got to go to girls camp with my young women. It was so fun!!! I put up a tent by MYSELF and I am very proud to say that it never collapsed. You can just call me an extreme camper from her on out.
We.....

stayed up late
slept in tents
crafted
sang our hearts out
went on hikes
talked about life
ate candy
read scriptures
performed skits
did a confidence course
bore our testimonies
laughed till our stomachs hurt

Oh the joys of girls camp and the great outdoors. I have been so blessed to be in the young women's this past year. This calling has made me be a better person in so many ways. Heres a few pictures of our adventure....

Similar but different

Did you ever know that having a new puppy is like having a new child? I did not get this memo. Im not complaining here because I love to wake up and see him at 3, 5, and 6 A.M.. honestly I do but lets just say I am a little sleep deprived. The other night Tug and I had our usual wake up sessions. I woke up at 3 to his cry, got him out of his kennel, smiled because he is the best thing to wake up to, and took him out to the grass so he could do his business garments and all. We proceeded with this at 5 A.M. and then at 6 before I had to get ready for work.
At 6:15 I kissed Zach goodbye and relinquished the dog duties over to him. 6:30 A.M. I arrived at work, got my scrubs, and entered the bathroom to change. I looked down to change my shoes into my work crocs and here are the shoes I was wearing
These shoes and similar but different..... I think Im losing my mind.........
